About Us

Namaste– A heartfelt welcome to our home of flavors.

Our mission is to serve people who crave unique flavors, experiences, and ideas while creating opportunities for chefs to showcase their creativity. We hope to foster a spirit of exploration by connecting people through food.

About Us

Creative & Exciting Cuisine

From the royal kitchens of Mughal emperors to the bustling street stalls of Delhi, from the coastal spice markets of Kerala to the earthy tandoors of Punjab—we bring together the essence of India on a single plate. Every dish is prepared with hand-ground spices, fresh ingredients, and the same swaad (flavor) you’d find in a lovingly prepared family meal.

Our Story

Founded by Chef Poonam and Chef Aswita who grew up surrounded by the aromas of homemade masalas and the rhythm of family feasts, Cafe Dhaba is more than a restaurant—it is a place where stories are shared, laughter is served, and every guest is treated like atithi (a guest is God). Whether you crave the boldness of a spicy biryani, the richness of a creamy butter chicken, or the simplicity of dal-chawal done right—you will find comfort and joy in every bite.

Meet Our Chefs

From Maharashtra to Hyderabad, Their Hands Bring India to Your Plate

At Cafe Dhaba, our food is crafted by two inspiring women—Chef Poonam, who grew up mastering traditional Maharashtrian cooking, and Chef Aswita, whose roots lie in the rich flavors of Hyderabadi cuisine.

Their culinary journeys, shaped by family traditions and regional soul food, come together in every bite we serve. From homestyle curries to slow-cooked biryanis, their passion is what makes our kitchen special.

Real stories. Real flavors. Real women behind it all.
